The DMC-EZ 5000 is a three-recorder/Dye-Sublimation, Thermal Fusion printing solution providing CD and DVD production using TEAC Explorer II Medical Disc Publishing System. It supports manual and automated disc creation and labeling. The DMC-EZ 5000 is perfect for Large Hospitals creating 100-700 patient CD's or DVD's per day. It includes Explorer II MDPS, display, keyboard, mouse and a 1 year warranty.
An automated system designed for institutions with
large patient loads, the DMC-EZ 5000 DICOM Media Creator medical CD and DVD
recording solution allows pre-loading up to 300 CD and DVD for hands free recording and
labeling of patient studies. Patient demographic information and the hospital
logo can be automatically printed on to the disc surface using modality specific
templates. The DMC-EZ 5000 system features an integrated computer (DICOM network compatible),
advanced robotics, a Dye-Sublimation Thermal Fusion disc printer and exclusive DMC-EZ Medical Recording
Software.
New
DMC-EZ Medical Recording Software features a Web-based interface that's
accessible from any PC on the DICOM network. Practically any computer in the
institution can be used to push patient studies to the DMC-EZ 5000 and record them
to CD or DVD, either instantly or at any scheduled time. It also allows
thumbnail preview prior to disc creation. The DMC-EZ line also includes a
built in web server and web viewer for alternative distribution of images and
reports.
Information can be easily shared with referring physicians, clinical colleagues
or patients, because discs created with the DMC-EZ 5000 can be viewed on virtually
any computer. The unit automatically records an Enhanced DICOM viewer which
allows viewing of the full structured report and DICOM images then labels the
disc with patient study and demographic information. Information
such as slice locations, slice thickness and patient demographics can readily be
displayed. Patient demographic information can even be edited or eliminated
completely to ensure HIPAA readiness and make the images usable for conferences
and teaching purposes.
To improve HIPAA implementation and the preparation of disclosure logs, the
DMC-EZ 5000 provides an exchange and archive database that logs all CDs and DVDs
created. All discs recorded for storage in house can be easily accessed using
our shelf management tool. The convenient shelf management feature provides the
ability to easily locate the media containing previously archived studies.
