As more and more computer systems are being manufactured without CD or DVD drives, traditional CD/DVD image delivery can become cumbersome. Providing patients with images on a single USB drive instead of multiple CDs or DVDs, makes image delivery much easier for both the patient and the facilities distributing them.
DMC-EZ DICOM USB Station also allows secure image delivery via the cloud (Virtual Media Lite). It’s as easy as sending images to PACS. If a patient or referring physician can receive an email, you can send them DICOM images, and there are no signup or subscription service fees. (Zero Trust Image Sharing)
